French Art Deco Furniture

Andre Sornay Bookcase Cabinet

A very slim and elegant bookcase cabinet designed and constructed by the French master Andre Sornay (1902 – 2000) ca. 1930, working from his atelier at 10 Rue Paul Chnavard in Lyon, France. The tall door opens to reveal five adjustable shelves. The cabinet is a stylish repository for your favorite books or valuables. The cabinet is made of choice mahogany veneers and decorated with a border design of Sornay’s trademark exposed brass nail heads. The cabinet measures 65-1/2” high and 17” deep yet is only 13” wide.
