Bronzes & Art Deco Metalware

Camille Faure French Art Deco Enamel Vase

This magnificent French art deco vase is from the Atelier Camille Faure and dates to ca. 1940.  The vase, in transparent to opaque blue enamel over silver foil on a copper base is in high relief.  Black enamel is laid in to form a geometric “Fiddlehead Fern” design.  The vase is pictured on page 121 of Cork Marcheschi’s Camille Faure:  Impossible Objects and is signed “C Faure Limoges”.  It measures 4 ¾” high and is 5 ¼” diameter.
