French Art Deco Tea Set by Christian Fjerdingstadt for Christofle

This French Art Deco Tea Set was designed by Christian Fjerdingstadt (1891 – 1968) for Christofle. Of silver plate and ebony the set of a tea pot, sugar and creamer was designed in 1933. Similar sets were used on the ocean liner Normandie. The tea pot measures 5-3/4” high.

French Art Deco Dinanderie Vase by Luc Lanel for Christofle

This French art deco vase was designed ca. 1929 by Luc Lanel (1893 – 1965) for Orfeverie Christofle, Paris. The copper vase, with green and black oxidized patina has a band of "arrowhead" decor a flaring rim and a spread foot. It is marked on the base "Chirtofle", "B 187" and "E". The vase is pictured on page 52 of "Lanel, Luc & Marjolaine" by Dominique Forest. The vase is 8 ½" high 5 ¾" diameter (at the rim) and 3 3/8" diameter at the foot.

French Art Deco Dinanderie Vase by Luc Lanel

This French art deco dinanderie vase was designed ca. 1925 for Orfeverie Christofle, Paris by Luc Lanel (1893 - 1965). The vase, with it’s geometric floral designs, flaring rim and straight foot is in silver plated brass with green to brown oxidized patina and has a silver plated interior. It is stamped on the base "Christofle", "B013" and "E". The vase is pictured on page 153 of "La Dinanderie Francaise" by Dominique Forest and an example is the musée Bouilhet – Chistofle St. Denis France. The vase is 7" high, 5" diameter (at the rim) and 3 ½ " in diameter (at the base).
