This Mid-Century Modern design long spindle side sofa was designed ca. 1950 by George Nakashima (1905-1990) for his Origins line, produced by the Widdicomb Furniture Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The sofa, number 252 W in solid walnut, is in excellent condition and has been recently recovered. The sofa is in two sections for portability and for possible use with a table for around a corner. It is 125" wide, 34" deep and 25" high at the back.
