Art Deco Chandeliers & Ceiling Lights

Georges Leleu Opalescent Ice Chandelier

This French art deco chandelier was designed and executed by Georges Leleu (1883 – 1961) in the 1920’s. The nickel body with “waterfall” design supports a large center bowl and three outer bowls, all of Sabino style opalescent “melting ice” glass. Six drops of the same glass hang from the arched supports. With six sockets, the fixture shimmers with dancing light. The chandelier is 26” in diameter and drops 30” from the ceiling. It has been re-nickeled and rewired for American electricity.
