JAZ Clock with Blue Columns

This French art deco table clock was made by the Compagnie Industrielle de Macanique Horolongere which used the trademark “JAZ” from 1919 to 1941. This clock is from a line of deco clocks that the company introduced in 1934. The silver colored face is in a rectangular nickel frame with rounded inside corners. The frame is suspended and rotates vertically between two blue enamel columns with nickel caps and set on a rectangular nickel base. It measures 3-1/4” high and 5-1/4” wide. The clock is marked “JAZ” on the front and back. It is also marked on the back “Modele Depose, Made in France”.
