Set of Four English Art deco “Cloud” Chairs

This set of four English art deco chairs was made in the 1930’s in a style made famous by Harry and Lou Epstein. The chairs are known as "cloud" style due to the scalloped and curved back. The back is burled walnut. The solid walnut legs are saber style in the front and splay in the rear. The chairs are upholstered in ivory raw silk. Each chair is 35 ½" high 21" wide and 21" deep. The chairs are in excellent condition.

Jallot Desk & Chair

This superb French art deco desk and chair are by Léon Jallot (1874 – 1967). Created in the 1930’s of Brazilian Rosewood with bronze handles, pulls and sabots the desk has five drawers and pull-out slides on each side. The desk measures 64” x 30” and is 30” wide. The 19 ½” wide extensions each add 12 ½” to the width. The matching chair with bronze sabots and black leather seat and back measures 23” wide, 23” deep and 29” high.
