French Art Deco Furniture

Majorelle Palissandre Cabinet

A stylish French art deco cabinet in the exotic rosewood the French call Palissandre. Dating from the 1930’s this exceptional cabinet was designed by Alfred Lévy and executed by “Les Ateliers Majorelle” possibly in conjunction with the 1937 Colonial Exposition in Paris. It has two doors which open to reveal a pair of shelves, three drawers and a generous display area. The five pulls are of solid elephant ivory. The piece is signed “Majorelle, Nancy” on the lower right side and measures 37” wide x 16” deep and is 48” high.
