A classic French art deco wrought iron and pressed glass table lamp by Muller FreresMuller Freres
[Founded in 1895] 

(Muller Brothers) in Luneville, France, was one of the premier glassmakers of the period. The Mullers produced art glass competing with Daum and Galle from 1895 till the war intervened in 1914. Resuming production in 1919, the company concentrated on ceiling fixtures, wall sconces and table lamps. The Depression caused Muller Freres to cease production in 1933 and finally close down in 1936.

. The six sided peach glass shade with clear and frosted geometric design is signed “Muller Freres”. It sits on a silvered wrought iron base. The foot is rayed, matching the shade. The shaft is decorated with beaded droms of various lengths. Made between 1925 and 1936 (when the factory closed), the lamp is 18 ¼” high.
