Paul Follot Art Deco Pedestal Table

This French art deco pedestal table was designed by Paul Follot (1877 – 1941) in the late 1920’s, probably when he was at the Paris branch of Waring & Gillow. The table is of dark mahogany with a fluted central column spreading into an octagonal base. The top has a 3 ½” ribbed apron. The table has one leaf and gate legs which swing down for support. It measures 29 ½” high x 45” wide and 55” long (which extends to 78 ½” long with leaf inserted).
